Refund policy

Formosa Sugar is the authorized sales agent in the United States for Taiwan Sugar Corporation (TSC). We specialize in wholesale distribution of Taiwan Sugar products and do not sell directly to the general public.

1. Wholesale Customers Only

All sales are conducted business-to-business (B2B) with approved wholesale customers. Orders placed through our company are considered wholesale transactions and are subject to the terms outlined below.

2. Order Accuracy

Customers are responsible for verifying all order details before confirming a purchase, including:

  • Product type

  • Quantity

  • Shipping address

  • Delivery instructions

Once an order has been processed or shipped, modifications may not be possible.

3. Returns

Due to the food-grade nature of sugar products and food safety regulations, returns are generally not accepted except under the following circumstances:

  • The product was damaged during shipping

  • The product received was incorrect

  • The product has manufacturing defects

Any return request must be submitted within 3 business days of delivery.

To request a return, please provide:

  • Order number

  • Photos of the product and packaging

  • Description of the issue

Return requests without proper documentation may not be approved.

4. Damaged Shipments

If your shipment arrives damaged:

  1. Note the damage with the carrier upon delivery if possible.

  2. Take clear photos of the damaged packaging and product.

  3. Contact us within 3 business days of receiving the shipment.

We will review the claim and may offer:

  • Partial refund

5. Refunds

If a refund is approved, it will be issued through the original payment method or as a business credit, depending on the circumstances.

Refunds are only issued for:

  • Verified damaged products

  • Incorrect shipments caused by our fulfillment error

Shipping and handling fees may be non-refundable unless the error was caused by our company.

6. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Products stored improperly after delivery

  • Orders placed incorrectly by the customer

  • Products returned without authorization
